I was in the 86th St 4/5/6 stop the other days waiting and I was trying to get a picture of the railing going up to the Local train but I kept getting this same result. Something with the shallow depth of field and shape of the railing produced this distorted hour glass cluster you see above.
It is probably more interesting than what I was trying to get, so I won’t complain.
