in the mornings, my room is light enough to see what you are doing, but dark enough to pass hours doing next to nothing. these mornings have turned into the only time i listen to my vinyl. because of that i buy mostly low key morning albums (bright eyes, iron and wine, sufjan, ryan adams etc). i like my …and you will know us by the trial of dead record as much as the next guys, but i just can’t find an excuse to throw it on.
knowing this, i think woods will be my next purchase. there is a perfect mix of eccentricity mixed with catchy melodies and lo fi recording. so the next time i am in bed eating trashy eggs and potatoes from cup and saucer (yes, they deliver!) and editing photos in bed i will be doing it to this album.
