gordonshumway asked: I've been a runner for a while (with a 3:23:09 Boston PR!) but injuries have forced me to take up cycling. I'm more than a little freaked out about road biking, so I'm sticking to the trails for now. My question? What advice would you have for beginning cyclists? Do you have any suggestions for a solid workout plan?
this is an answer for you and @erikellingson, With cycling the best advice i can give you is miles, miles miles. If you are not riding at least 100 miles a week you are really not going to see anything from it. I am up to around 220-275 a week currently. Also congrats on your Boston time, that is really fantastic.
